Summary: The Women''s Center Family/childbirth Educator is responsible for assisting, planning, implementing and evaluating course curriculum delivered to an assigned group of clients during his/her class series; accurately and safely performing procedures for which he/she has been prepared and certified; meeting specified certification requirements.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited college or university. ASPO/ICEA certification or course appropriate certification.
MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE: Has taught minimum of one (1) year, current ASPO classes. Computer proficiency using basic word processing software.Bradley Instructor: Minimum of five (5) years of teach experience in applicable field.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Current LCCE certification.BLS/Heartsaver biennially.Bradley Instructor: Current affiliate of American Academy of Husband-Coached childbirth (AAHCC)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
