A well-established engineering and contracting firm on the windward side of Oahu is looking for an Accounting Manager to join its team. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Controller, and will oversee all the day to day operations of the accounting group including general ledger maintenance, monthly close, financial statement preparation, job costing, contract review, AP, AR, payroll, internal control oversight and coordinating with the external CPAs for tax return preparation. The accounting manager will also supervise a team of four. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, or relevant experience of 5
years in a progressive accounting role in lieu of a degree. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this role. Familiarity with Quickbooks and Peachtree are a plus.
