Inpatient Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Kailua, Oahu

Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) seeks a full-time, community and mission-minded, board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), to join our mental and behavioral health team that serves an inpatient unit of up to 29 beds.
The PMHNP-BC will work independently and provide psychiatric clinical care to patients, including support of ED and floor consults.
AHCS offers a full range of inpatient services to adults including anxiety, depressive and psychotic disorders.
All mental and behavioral health care at AHCS centers around multidisciplinary teams that include a psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, case manager and mental health technician.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited graduate-level program that produced a master s degree in clinical nursing or nursing science in relevant field of specialty.
Current Hawaii Registered Nurse License.
Current Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License with prescriptive authority that meets education requirement(s) for Hawaii state APRN prescriptive authority.
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as required for area.
Two (2) years nurse practitioner experience or equivalent nursing experience.
Prefer three (3) years NP experience or equivalent in behavioral health.
Extensive background in an acute care setting desired, as well as clinic setting experience.
Candidates must be Board Certified for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Hawaii licensed or eligible, and meet the hospital s medical staff credentialing standards.
