Summary:
All About Behavior is a locally-based, family owned company since 2010 specializing in providing high quality Behavioral services to children with autism, developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
We are currently seeking a Clerical /Janitor to join our team.
As a clerical, you will be answering incoming calls and communicating information, and attending to children when needed (activities not related to behavioral therapy, such as supervising lunch or nap time) As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facility.
This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchens, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors - Maintain cleanliness of therapy areas and common areas such as break rooms and conference rooms - Ensure that all surfaces are clean and free from debris.
Sanitize and organize toys and toy shelves.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer, art supplies, etc.
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Requirements:
- Previous experience as a janitor or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
At least one year of experience working in a clinic/school setting and or working around children.
(Not required but a plus) - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Basic computer literacy skills for order entry and data entry tasks - Knowledge of word and excel - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and visitors - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time Note:
