Summary:
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of HOA and Corporate Financial Statements in accordance with GAAP. Reconciling balance sheet accounts monthly for review and audit purposes. Also, supports the Resort Management Team in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Responsibilities:
-Monthly HOA and Corporate financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP. Complete necessary accruals and reclassifications. Work with Resort
manager
and/or accounting management team to solve any discrepancy or errors as necessary.
-Reconcile balance sheet accounts. Prepare reconciliation work papers for monthly review and audit and upload to Movaris.
-Prepare analysis of financial data for assistance in budget preparation, investments, cash transfers, and/or operational management.
-Complete and file timely, accurate sales/use/occupancy tax returns. Maintain back-up files for audit purposes.
-Assist with various special projects as needed, and performing other miscellaneous clerical and accounting-related tasks.

Minimum
Qualifications:
-Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting
-2 years of general ledger work and/or financial statement preparation as well as a solid understanding of day-to-day operations
- Must be a self-starter with ability to work with little or no supervision
-Strong organizational skills
-Ability to perform under pressure
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
-Strong Excel knowledge (function formulas, pivot tables, linked spreadsheets)
-PeopleSoft experience a plus
-Previous experience with preparing multiple sets of financial statements also a plus
Job: FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
